Mt. Cook & Mueller Hut
This is one of our favorite spots in New Zealand. It is home to one of the tallest peaks and a 5km 1800 meter climb to Mueller Hut. Find out free camping spots and must do activities to do in the Mount Cook/ Aoraki National Park for travelers on a Budget!
. . : Road Trips : . .
This was one of our first trips after the van was built out. We wanted to stay close to our home base, but still explore close to home and make sure everything is working before we sent it off into the abyss. What we didn't realize was all the amazing places and free places to camp Southern New Mexico had. They were endless!
Our yearly pilgrimage home. This was the first year we have driven from New Mexico to Black Rock City. Since we had the time this time, we wanted to make a road trip out of the journey to BRC. This trip includes hot springs, free camping, Mono Lake, Yosemite, Obsidian filled craters, Tahoe and more.
This road trip covers 5 states and 4 National Parks and so much under rated goodness in between. With all the free places to camp, you could wander this area of the United States forever and never pay a penny for camping. Find out our favorite spots!
