Today we are reviewing the Anker Solix Portable Power Station. We have had this unit for a little bit of time before we put together this review. This awesome compact power station is small but mighty! With a 1056Wh capacity and 1800W AC outlets, this unit is more than it is made out to be. The Anker Solix C1000 Features 6 AC outlets! This was something that I thought was overkill at first but come to find out it's super convenient to have all 6! It's like a portable surge protector and has the capacity to power almost anything.

We used this unit to power us through the last few festivals including Burning Man and now Moonlanding. Not only is this unit handy for having fun it's also very practical at the worksite or for back up emergency power.

With the capability to fast charge in under one hour, the Anker c1000 in my opinion the best portable power station for this price (If you can get it on sale! - Which it is now!)

Easy, Simple 12-Volt DIY Battery Setup - Dr. PrePare 100Ah PowerMax + HUB

Let’s talk about a few simple easy dual-battery setups for your travels. Here are two new products that are great for powering your adventures on the road.

Dr. PrePare 100AH PowerMax LifePO4 + Hub

The first is the Dr. PrePare (Great Name!) 100Ah PowerMax LifePO4 PowerMax with the add-on hub to convert this battery into a portable power station. This is a pretty slick unit if you are looking for an easy solution to hook up a 12-volt fridge or charge your phones/other accessories. You are also able to charge via solar with an Anderson plug into the PowerMax hub which is great for longer trips. The nice thing about the Dr. PrePare is that it comes in at $399 with the PowerMax Hub which is a great deal for a portable power station that 100Ah. Note that you will need a way to change this system using either a $50 lithium battery charger (it’s a good thing to own) or a 100W Solar Panel.

Anker Solix C1000

The second battery is one we are all more familiar with which is a portable power station. In this video, I am comparing the Anker SOLIX C1000 which is fairly comparable in size at 1056Wh. The Anker has less capacity, but what it lacks in capacity it makes up for in features. The C1000 has six AC outlets, with an 1800W Output. The Dr. PrePare can only handle 1000W if you can hook up an inverter to the battery. However, the Anker comes in much more pricier than the Dr. PrePare 100Ah Battery.

• 6 x AC Outlets @ 1,800 Watts, Portable, ready to use out of the box

• Charges at home (cord provided) in under one hour, 600 Watt Solar Input
